Multiple Grants Awarded to Schools Across 7th District

HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) announced today that multiple schools across the 7th House District have received funding from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency’s (PCCD) School Safety and Security Committee (SSSC). These grants are school safety grants for nonpublic schools and municipalities, law enforcement agencies, and approved security vendors supplying school security personnel services to schools.

Wentling Announces Grant for Sharon Downtown Strategic Plan

Wentling Announces $15,000 in Farm-to-School Grants for West Middlesex Schools

HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) announced today the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) has awarded $15,000 to West Middlesex Area School District. The funding is through PDA’s Farm-to-School grant program aimed at improving access to healthy, local food and increasing hands-on learning for children in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.

Wentling: Mercer County Historical Society to Receive PHMC Funds

HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) announced today the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) has awarded $8,000 in funding to the Mercer County Historical Society. This funding has been awarded through PHMC’s Cultural and Historical Grant Program. The program provides general operating support to Pennsylvania museums and historical societies not directly supported by other state programs.

Wentling Announces World War II Veterans to Receive France’s Highest Honor

Wentling Announces $330,000 in Grant Funding Toward Local Transportation Project

Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) announced just over $330,000 from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF) will be used toward improvements to Lorenwood Drive near the Hermitage Athletics Complex, along with the addition of a trail connection within the complex.

Wentling: Nearly $943,000 Awarded to Redevelop Former Damascus-Bishop Tube Company Site

GREENVILLE – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) announced today the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) has awarded nearly $943,000 in aid to Greenville-Reynolds Development Corporation to assist with the redevelopment of the former Damascus-Bishop Tube Company site. The funding package consists of a $385,160 grant and a low-interest loan of $577,740.

Wentling Announces $20,000 for Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV

Wentling to Host Health Fair and Senior Expo

HARRISBURG – To provide relevant information to citizens in the 7th Legislative District, Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) will host his 7th annual Health Fair and Senior Expo. Dozens of exhibitors from local, state and federal agencies, along with a variety of senior and health-focused organizations, will be on hand to offer information about programs and services designed to meet the needs of older Pennsylvanians. In addition, there will be health screenings, vaccinations and vaccine boosters available. Light refreshments will be served, and door prizes will be awarded.

Wentling: New Grant Program for Sportsmen’s Clubs Accepting Applications
