Seniors Invited to Informative Breakfast Seminar, Wentling Says
May 2, 2019
CONNEAUT LAKE – Area senior citizens are invited to attend an informative Senior Coffee and Conversation seminar hosted by Better Business Bureau, Pennsylvania Link to Aging and Disability Resources, and the office Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Crawford/Erie/Lawrence/Mercer).
The Senior Coffee and Conversation event will be held at the Greenville Senior Center, 45 Alan Avenue, on Wednesday, May 29, starting at 8:30 a.m. It is free to attend and open to senior citizens age 55 and over.
“I encourage senior citizens in the area to attend so that they can learn more about issues they face, such as Social Security and scammers who target senior citizens,” Wentling said.
Attendees will receive information about Social Security from a Social Security Administration official and will also learn about elder financial abuse and fraud from Mercer County District Attorney Greg Reichart. Prizes, donated by local businesses, will also be awarded during scams and fraud bingo.
The event kicks off with light refreshments at 8:30 a.m. Attendees must reserve a seat in advance. To RSVP call 724-588-3155.
