Wentling to Join Fall Trout Stocking on Shenango River

WHAT: Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) will participate in a Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission fall stocking of rainbow trout in Section 3 of the Shenango River in Mercer County. The trout are coming from the Corry State Fish Hatchery.

WHO: Wentling; Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission stocking personnel and volunteers.

WHEN: Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, at 11 a.m.

WHERE: Meet at Lamont Corners, the intersection of state routes 18 and 518 in Mercer County. This is the Fish and Boat Commission’s meeting point for the Shenango River stocking; participants will proceed to the river from there.
