Wentling Announces Grant for Mercer County Conservation District

HARRISBURG - Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) today announced that the Mercer County Conservation District (MCCD) has received a $2,360 grant to support its Fishing Skills Workshop Series.

“As the vice chair of the House Game and Fisheries Committee, I know how important fishing is to the folks I am honored to represent. This grant will help the Mercer County Conservation District instruct new fly fishermen,” said Wentling.

This funding comes from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commissions Recruitment, Retention and Reactivation (R3) grant program. This grant provides funding to support R3-related educational programs.
