HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Crawford/Erie/Lawrence/Mercer) released the following statement regarding Rep. Mark Longietti’s announcement that he will not seek a ninth term with the Pennsylvania House of Representatives:
“I want to congratulate Rep. Longietti on a remarkable and lengthy career in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Though we disagreed on many issues of state importance, we both shared a mutual desire to work sincerely for the people of Mercer County and northwest Pennsylvania.
“While his career in the Pennsylvania House will soon be over, I know he will continue to give back to our community and Commonwealth in new ways.
“I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
