HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Crawford/Erie/Lawrence/Mercer) announced one municipality in the 17th District will receive $220,000 to upgrade traffic signals as part of the Green Light-Go program, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
Grant funding through this program is designed to help municipalities improve existing traffic signals efficiently. This ranges from upgrading traffic signals to installing light-emitting diode (LED) technology. This marks the sixth round of funding under this program.
“The safety of Pennsylvanians remains one of my top priorities,” Wentling said. “As technology evolves, we have a prime opportunity to adapt and become more efficient. I’m proud that a municipality in the legislative district I represent will benefit from this.”
The approved project in the 17th District is as follows:
Crawford County
• Conneaut Lake Borough – $220,000 for modernization of two signals along Water Street.
