Wentling Announces More Than $300,000 in Grant Funding for Greenville Traffic Signal
8/11/2023
HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) says the borough of Greenville will be getting $327,081 through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) “Green Light-Go” program. This money will be used to update signal equipment at Main Street (Route 358) and Columbia Avenue (SR 4011).

“The Green Light-Go grant will help traffic flow, relieve congestion, and most importantly, make this intersection safer for both drivers and pedestrians,” Wentling said.

Green Light-Go grants are provided as reimbursement to municipalities for updates to improve the efficiency and operation of existing traffic signals. These projects will be funded through the appropriation for fiscal year 2023-24.
