Wentling Announces more than $283,000 in Grant Awards to Fire, EMS Companies in the 17th District
HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Crawford/Erie/Lawrence/Mercer) announced that the Office of the State Fire Commissioner awarded more than $283,000 in grant awards to 25 fire and emergency medical services departments in the 17th District.
These dollars are distributed through the Pennsylvania Fire Company and Emergency Medical Service Grant Program. The purpose of the grants is to help local public safety organizations with purchasing or repairing firefighting, ambulance or rescue equipment; training personnel; and reducing debt.
